Stratis Coin Price Info & More about STRAT

Stratis is a Blockchain development platform designed for businesses. The company offers developers a place to test and deploy Blockchain-based applications. Businesses are able to build applications using C# and the Microsoft.NET Framework programming languages. STRAT is the digital currency, which runs inside the platform. The initial coin offering (ICO) of the token was in July 2016 in order to fund the development of the project and it raised some USD 675 000 (a little less than 1000 Bitcoins at that time).

Stratis opened for trading for the first time on 12 August 2016 at USD 0.01 and hit an all-time high of USD 22.29 on 8 January 2018. To put that into a perspective – that is a little more than a 222 500% increase for about 15 months. However, lately, the currency is looking out of shape as it fell some 36% by 21 February.

The Thesis of Stratis

First of all, Stratis is a for-profit company – something that immediately draws a line between this currency and others. The second thing is that investors might look at the value of Stratis differently, perhaps, in terms of return on investment. For them, the coin has already proved its worth with the more than 200 000% increase in the price of STRAT tokens since the ICO. On top of that, the startup has been incredibly aware of the current situation with the cryptocurrency mania. With the latest initial coin offerings raising around millions (some in hundreds of millions), Stratis’ USD 600 000 ICO is totally dwarfed in comparison.

"Stratis came in at an awfully cheap entry, roughly $ 600k. Even though we are hovering around $ 3.5 million now, the sky is the limit. Realistically, considering the market caps of similar projects that offer promise, a 30 million market cap is an easy target, giving you roughly a 10x return on your money."

Buying and Storing Stratis

To get hold of some cryptocurrencies, first, you would need a wallet. Stratis has its own software wallet, but I would suggest getting a hardware wallet for extra security (it never hurts). You can find hardware wallets on Amazon. After finishing that first step, you can go to an exchange and purchase STRAT./p>

Wrapping It Up

Stratis is a Proof-of-Stake (POS) cryptocurrency with limited emission and low inflation, the currency combines the proven security consensus of Bitcoin, with the latest advancements in Blockchain technology. As the company quietly creates big partnerships (Microsoft’s Azure and TumbleBit), I think it has the potential to become one of the largest Blockchain firms in the world. If it’s not already.
